Don’t miss this concert by some of Baltimore’s finest musicians in support of young artists on the cusp of a major international career. The philosophy of giving, inherent in Liszt’s life, is exemplified in his belief that artists must support one another if art is to survive. The Liszt-Garrison event memorializes two individuals, geographically and centuries apart, whose messages reflect the commitment to that belief. The evening will celebrate music that was loved by Franz Liszt and Bill Garrison. The evening also celebrates these two remarkable men who were devoted to the future of music and artists’ well-being.
